I did it !

I may not have THE cutest blog on the block, but it has definately improved. I didn't do a thing differently than before, but decided to try again today and go very s-l-o-w-l-y this time and it worked on the first try. I can always blame it on my computer, right !?!?! grrrrr ! BUT yeahhh!!!

Our latest family NEWS is that Ryan got a new job with the Church (of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) that he starts next week in the Audio Visual department--we are very excited for this change for them and their cute little family ! Carter turned 3 last Saturday--crazy !!!

Jen and the kids will be coming in Nov. for an "extended" visit, while Todd does some "extended" training out of state ! His eyes continue to heal well, and you will not see him wearing glasses anymore ! Kayla has her first two teeth (going on 4 and counting) and is sitting up now, but still would "rather not" roll over much, and so continues her physical therapy for her neck muscle issue--doing well--see their blog for more details & pictures.

Todd's airplane assignment !

Todd & Jen have finally recieved their plane assignment ! Todd will be flying the
F-15E !!! They are very excited to know what the future holds for them, and also that he actually got his 1st choice !!!They will go to North Carolina for training and then either stay there or go to England or Idaho.

Cameron got his drivers license !!!

He's official ! Cameron is in possession of a State Of Utah Operators License !!!

Cameron got his braces off !!!!!

Cameron FINALLY got his braces off on Jan. 16 !!! He says he was more excited than the last THREE Christmas' all put together that day ! We celebrated by going to dinner at (where else), "Texas Roadhouse," (in Utah, of course). We will get a picture of his perfect smile on here shortly !

December update !

Hello !!! Where did the month of December go ???? Just a quick update--Rylee went back to the Dr. at the end of Dec. and her eye hadn't changed so they are going to watch it for another 6 weeks. She is smiling soooo much now and is soooo darling !

We flew to Texas on the 21st to spend Christmas with Todd & Jenni & Chase ! We had a great time shopping for a couple of days and then spending the rest of the time just down the street from Jen & Todds house ! We returned home on the 28th so that Erika and Cam could attend their Scout Camp staff reunion !

Rylee's eye appointment results

Rylee saw the opthamologist yesterday and they checked her eyesight which was normal and are going to wait 6 more weeks and see what happens. She does NOT need to see the plastic surgeon.

Layton High won their semi-final State Playoff game on Fri. night 28-14. They will play in the State Championship final on Fri. Nov.16 @ 2:30 pm at Rice Eccles Stadium !!! We'll be there !

Rylee has an appointment with a pediatric ophamologist next Tues. afternoon at 2:00 pm to look at her eye. (She has a little "swollen" spot on her upper eyelid that could be a concern) She will also be seeing a plastic surgeon to determine what, if anything needs to be done. They are thinking it may be a type of vascular birthmark (strawberry mark) that could affect her vision if left untreated.
