Grateful for our blessings - Thanksgiving 2009

It has happened . . . after 29 years of marriage, we finally "hosted" our first Thanksgiving Dinner at our house ! We missed Erika & Mark who were in Illinios with Mark's family, and Jenni & Todd, Chase & Kayla who were in Mississippi this year.

Here's our SUMMER in a nutshell---where did it go ?!?!

No pictures of this (believe me, you wouldn't want to see them), but Dave had Carpal Tunnel surgery on BOTH hands done in July---that has been fun/interesting !? And then he and I (and Ryan & Jaimee) completed our first 5K race on Aug. 1 for Raspberry Days @ Bear Lake ! We plan to do more, but are sure that no other races will include FREE Raspberry Ice Cream for completing !?!?!?

The family threw a great party for my 50th Birthday at Ryan & Jaimees house ! Thanks, everyone---you are the greatest !

The end of our "season" as Bishop . . .

Dave was released as Bishop of our ward on Sunday. It has been an emotional time filled with many mixed feelings. We were not expecting this to happen right now, but have faith in the Lords "timetable" for all of us. This picture was taken at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor on the previous Saturday. We love his counselors, Bro. Berlin, and Bro. Cate, and are so grateful for their support ! PS Bro. Berlin is the NEW Bishop Berlin!!!

Sunny St. George with the Lloyds !

We just returned from a great visit with all the Lloyds to sunny, blue skied, St. George. It felt so great !!! The guys went golfing a couple of times and we girls did some shopping and pottery painting !!! Thanks to Bob & Carolyn, and Cheryl & Keith for their fabulous hospitality !!! We planned the next trip for the same time next year !

. . . for those of you who may be "missing" the white "stuff" !?!?!? It is beauftiful, but will it EVER stop ?!
